Most UK mobile telephones will work in Greece. If in doubt contact your provider before travel.
A cheaper alternative to UK international rates may be to purchase a SIM card locally. These can be obtained for as little as 15euro and the call charges are a lot lower.

The water is safe to drink. most people buy bottled water for convenience. It's HOT and you should consume around 2 litres of water a day during the summer months or you could become dehydrated.
There is a regular bus service that will take you to and from Rhodes Town
(and all places in between)
Taxi's are readily available and can normally be found at the 'taxi rank'
by the Rock Bar or cruising up and down the main street.
*check the fare before entering the taxi. You may also be expected to share
with others. All parties will pay the same fare!
Car, motorbike and bicycle rental is readily available. Shop around for good deals. Check the insurance.
